New MERCED SQUARE Penthouse

The location of this apartment is superb, only a few minutes walk from the centre of Malaga on a street that offers multiple drinking, dining and grocery options. Key pickup was simple, being available in a lockbox at the main entrance to the building, the code to which we were sent before our visit. Found on the 4th floor of the building (no lift), the front door opens to the apartment's main corridor, with the living room, which opens on to a pleasant terrace, at one end and the kitchen and shower room at the other, and the two bedrooms opening off the corridor. Only one bedroom has a window (to the living room), leaving the other quite dark, though the air conditioning in both is very effective, keeping the bedrooms comfortably cool. All 4 beds are singles, but very comfortable and offering a great night's sleep. The living room offers a dining table and chairs, plus a comfortable settee and rocking chair, as well as a large wall-mounted TV. The furnished terrace is accessed from the living room and has comfortable seating for four. There were plenty of electrical outlets throughout the apartment for charging and the wifi, while having an horrendously long password, was excellent in all areas. The bathroom, despite being quite compact, was fully equipped with unlimited hot water. The shower being above a hip bath that meant no leakage to the bathroom floor. Finally, the small kitchen has a hob and microwave, plus a kettle and stovetop coffee maker.
