We would have rated this property a 9+ as it is a lovely, well equipped and comfortable apartment. However there were two things that lowered our rating:- The car parking space provided is really only suitable for a small car (we had a Ford Focus). It is an extremely tight space and needed careful navigation to be able to manoeuvre it out each time we went in and out. This was a stressful experience. Secondly, whilst we booked and paid for an early check in for 12.00pm, we were still messaged to find out what time we were arriving. That wasn't really a problem. However, when we messaged the Property Management company regarding an issue with the air conditioning, they failed to answer. Luckily, the weather changed the next day and we did not need the A/C.

The best

Beautiful clean accommodation, in the charming town Mijas. The accommodation has breathtaking views. Two bedrooms and two renovated bathrooms and a beautiful fully equipped kitchen are great advantage. We appreciate the Dolce Gusto coffee maker that can be used. It's also really nice to have a parking space in this location. Unfortunately, we had very bad weather during our stay, so we welcomed the possibility of heating in the apartment, that was great.

To be improved

The access to the apartment is a little more complicated, sometimes narrow and winding roads, very hilly terrain, we really do not recommend renting a larger car. A smaller car will also be worth it for parking. The parking lot is a little more difficult to access and it is quite difficult to get there. It was a bit difficult to find out where the keys were and where exactly the parking space was upon arrival, and even the coded box was difficult to access and we had trouble opening it. The apartment smelled a bit on arrival, it would definitely be great to arrive to a more fragrant apartment. The terrace is very small and is next to one of the bedrooms, which is a bit of a shame . However, the weather was awful during our stay, so we didn't really use it.

Apartment is really spacious and nicely decorated. Comfy couch and beds and wonderful kitchen containing everything you need. 2 bathrooms was a bonus with plentiful hot water. Good location with the town only a short walk away. Block that apartment is located in is very well laid out and secure. Access to the property was really easy with the key being left in a secure box. There was a large smart TV so easy to log into Amazon or whatever account you have to watch English TV which was great as the weather wasn’t brilliant while we were there! Easy to use air conditioning/ heating.

To be improved

A couple of very minor issues such as shelf in one of the showers was broken so soap and toiletries would regularly fall through as was one of the blinds in the main living area but this did not spoil the stay in any way. Just a minor inconvenience really but these little things need addressing between each rental.

Lovely modern apartment, all the facilities you could need, in a great location, handy for all the local facilities, and great views.

To be improved

Not easy to park with a large car, our hire care wouldn’t fit garage space. Also needed some information in the apartment on the various appliances, rather than hunting instructions on the internet. Would have liked to have known in advance that the keys were kept 15 minutes walk from the apartment, as a first time visitor we didnt know the area.

The apartment was very clean and nice with an awesome view. The clima system worked well for a very hot august day. Will definetly revisit.

To be improved

Not in regard to the apartment but there are not a lot of stores near by do you need to walk a bit to the closet market place.
