Newly renovated with incredible sea views - RDR295

It was more basic/simple than expected, sea view over rated/marketed. Large construction in front and public trash cans.

The apartment has no sound proofing whatsoever. The windows are not double glazed and the walls are very thin. The windows in the bedroom mean you can hear every other person coming in and out of their apartments and EVERYTHING towards the back of the building, the front windows also mean you hear EVERYTHING happening at the front. Not only that but you can hear the people in the flats above and next door very clearly - even phones ringing. The management team were super helpful and communicative but when I told them about this (as I had to leave - it was impossible to stay for a work trip as I couldn’t sleep) they suggested it was because of the festival happening at the time I was staying…this is NOT what the problem was…you can hear everything - restaurants, people walking, opening their doors, phones, seagulls as if you’re sleeping outside. Festival or no festival, it would have been the same.
