“Good apartment, but needs better management”

The apartment is in a very good location, has two bedrooms, two balconies, overlooking the mosque wall, recently renovated, clean, good value for money. The kitchen has plenty of utensils, cleaning products, towels, etc. For a short stay, even more than enough.

To be improved

The most difficult part is getting into the apartment. To get into the building you need to receive link on WhatsApp and then activate it. (The links are deleted in the Booking.com messages.) We didn't get in for 40 minutes. We called the owner 6 times, no one answered for a long time. The front door opens only when you activate the link. Next you need to open the next door, which can be opened with a code by turning the handle. Then there is a box on the wall where you need to enter the code again, then you can take the key and get into the apartment. If you arrive late and you can't call the owner, you can stay on the street. If you don't speak Spanish, it's even harder. The link for opening the main door stopped working after 3-4 times. The door can also be unlocked with a key, but once you have checked out and put the keys in the box, you can't open the door. The internet in the apartment stopped working after a few minutes, we informed the owner, but nothing was done. There is an outdoor cafe on the 2nd floor on the opposite side of the street, so it is very noisy until late at night. There are only a few hangers in the apartment. When we arrived, we found that there were only a few sheets of toilet paper. On Sunday evening we had to look for a store that was still open to buy toilet paper. I recommend bringing your own :) When you check out, you get a message that you need to take out the trash. The container is about 300 meters down the street.
