NH Collection Gran Hotel de Zaragoza

A glorious hotel which will celebrate its 100th anniversary next year. Hemingway and Walt Disney stayed there. Located in the old city centre. Modern tasteful rooms. We had a Junior suite facing the street, sleep quality was fine. The breakfast is outstanding, I highly recommend taking the breakfast.

This hotel is one of the very best hotels to stay in the centro histórico of Zaragoza. It is situated in an elegant building less than 15 minutes walk to all points of interest and near a plethora of bars and restaurants. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room was upgraded to a spacious junior suite capable of easily accomodating a family of 4 in two rooms within the suite with a spacious bathroom. The shower was especially wonderful (easy to get in and out of, pleasing water pressure and spray). The included breakfast was varied and plentiful with an ample buffet and additional items you can order a la carte in elegant ballroom setting. All in all, we loved our 4 day stay in this hotel and wouldn't stay anywhere else if visiting Zaragoza. We chose this hotel due to the very positive reviews we read and felt our experience lived up to the hype.

Hotel is nice, staff is fantastic nice and very helpful at out visit, its placed in the old town. I know I am hard, floor is not vacuumed. Please dont report on hotels.com that you have aircondition, its it closed for the season, I booked you because you say you have and for a Nordic I need it.

After a bit of difficulty finding the hotel due to our Satnav not recognising the one way traffic system, we arrived to a very warm welcome. We had driven from mid France and were tired so it was great to be fussed over and have the car whisked away and quick access to our very comfortable room. Other posters have praised the staff and it is they who make this hotel special. From receptionists to restaurant hosts they were helpful, welcoming and cheerful. The room was very comfortable although we could not get the heating turned down enough, we prefer a cool room at night. The beds were comfortable, the water hot with good pressure and the WiFi strong and reliable. We ate in the hotel’s gastrobar which was ok and suited our needs. Again the staff could not do enough for us. There are better restaurants nearby if you want to leave the hotel. Breakfast was served in a somewhat gloomy breakfast room but had an excellent range of offerings. We are big fans of the NH brand and this hotel did not disappoint.

A nice hotel in a great location close to the shops, restaurants and the old town. Really friendly and helpful staff on check in. Valet parking which was brilliant as we were driving. Room was big and clean with coffee machine and mini bar. Bed was big and comfortable and room was quiet. Breakfast selection was good and offered buffet and hot items to order. The room was good value for money but the charge of €70 for our 2 small dogs was high especially as the 2 hotels we stayed in the nights before only charged €10 & €25 per night for the dogs. Apart from that we really liked the hotel. The room was a bit tired and definitely needed some redecorating.
