“Classy hotel at great location”

The best

2nd stay in this pretty hotel, friendly staff, clean rooms and crawling distance to the cathedral and restaurants and pubs. Parking garage lift is located 10 meters from the hotel.

I am a frequent traveler with stay across large number of hotel brands. This is our first time with NH Collections. We are impressed by the high quality of the property and the staff. Will be back.

This hotel is best avoided if you want a good nights sleep - loud music from nearby club or bar goes on into the early hours.

“The staff were lovely, very friendly and helpful! Particularly the lovely lady who checked us out! · Cons: I wish that I could have given this a top class review but unfortunately it’s not all good. We booked a room with a view and balcony (as was stated on the confirmation), but unfortunately there was no balcony, the only room with a view and without a balcony so that was disappointing. When we pulled back the sheets to get into bed it exposed the duvet, loosely cover by a sheet, and there was evidence that it had not been cleaned, or been properly cleaned. (the sheets were clean, the stain was on the duvet). There was a lot of dust in the room which was irritating particularly when the air con was on, when we moved something, opened the curtain, or shutters, which blew it about. The dust had settled on furniture and crockery, so cups, glasses had to be rinsed before using them. Too tired to complain at the time having walked the Camino, which may have resulted in having to move to another room, and we had only booked for 1 night. I chatted to the lovely lady on reception on check out , and showed her the photos that I’ve attached. She offered us a breakfast which was very nice and enjoyable for me (unfortunately my husband doesn’t eat breakfast so that was no consolation for him). The hotel, in general is a clean hotel with good facilities so don’t let my review put you off booking. I don’t think much attention was paid to this particular room (303) as I’m guessing it is rarely used going by the dust. A staff member called to the room with a complimentary bottle of water, and sweets when we arrived because we booked via booking.com which was a nice touch. I wasn’t sure if I should write this negative review as the receptionist was very understanding and offered us breakfast, but on reflection I decided to because we still had paid for a better standard.”
