“Family trip to Spain”
The hotel exceeded my expectations. They were able to accommodate a connecting room and everything was clean, modern, and the a/c worked SO WELL!!!!! Great location and fantastic rooftop bar! Thank you for the stay!
“Friendly staff but not enough”
The location of NH Collection Gran Vía is very central, right in the heart of Madrid and within walking distance of many attractions, restaurants, and shops. The staff was friendly and polite, which I appreciated. However, several aspects of the stay were disappointing. The hotel has a rooftop bar that is open to the public, which attracts a large number of outside visitors. While this may be great for the bar, it creates significant inconvenience for hotel guests. The hotel only has two very small elevators, and because of the constant traffic to the rooftop bar, it can take 10 minutes or more just to get an elevator to your floor, especially in the evening. Another issue is staffing. The hotel seems short-staffed, and employees often appear rushed trying to manage both hotel guests and the large number of people visiting the rooftop bar. Breakfast was €28 per person and not included in our stay, and in my opinion it was not worth the price. The breakfast area also felt understaffed and chaotic. What concerned me the most was security. During my stay, some kids who were not staying at the hotel were able to access our floor and were asking to see rooms. This should not happen in a hotel at this level and suggests that access control and supervision are lacking. Overall, while the location is convenient and the staff tries to be helpful, the elevator delays, understaffing, rooftop bar traffic, and security concerns significantly affected the experience. I expected better management of guest access and facilities for a hotel in this category.
“Best Customer Service Team in Madrid!”
I will be staying at the hotel for several days at the end of February/beginning of March, and I will update this review afterwards. However, I wanted to take this opportunity to write a very positive review regarding the service provided to me even before my arrival by several members of the Customer Experience team. After making my reservation, I contacted the hotel regarding several questions/requests which I had at the time of my booking. Bianca Fotea deserves special recognition for the manner in which she handles any and all requests made of her. She is a real gem, and NH Gran Via is so lucky to have her on their staff. I have read many accolades on this side regarding her "atención al cliente.¨I also would like to commend Miguel Rubia of the Front Office Staff, one of Bianca´s colleagues; he was the first to respond to an important email which I had sent to the hotel. It was because of these two amazing employees that I cancelled my reservation at a competitor hotel and decided that the NH Collection Madrid Gran Vía was the hotel I wanted to experience on my upcoming visit to Madrid. As I travel to Madrid at least once annually, and usually twice, I think I may have found my new ¨casa madrileña.¨I am very much looking forward to my experience at the hotel.
“Thank you for an amazing stay!”
The location is perfect: just a few steps from the metro and right on Gran Vía, within walking distance of major attractions, with bars, restaurants, and shops all around. The city vibe is literally at your doorstep. Breakfast is delicious, and the city views are stunning. My room was spacious, perfectly equipped, and incredibly comfortable. The temperature is fully adjustable, the soundproofing is excellent, and the bed guarantees a great night’s sleep. Above all, the staff truly make the difference. Housekeeping is discreet, meticulous, and makes you feel at home, paying attention to every detail. Check-in and check-out were friendly and efficient (special thanks to Pablo!). And a huge thank you to the Guest Relations team for their warmth, hospitality, and great recommendations — if you stay here, Bianca and Veronica will take amazing care of you. Highly recommended!

“Vacancy”
My husband and I stayed during the end of the year, the central hotel is very well cared for, clean and the breakfast is very rich. If we were to return to Madrid we would return again.
