The best

Great distance from the beach, and they were so welcoming with our dog. There was even a dog bed and bowls waiting for us in the room , we we loved. There was plenty of parking available under the hotel.

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel NH Collection San Sebastián Aránzazu and wouldn’t hesitate to return. One of the biggest advantages is its location: it’s out of the main tourist hub, which means it’s quieter and more relaxed, yet still an easy walk to the beach and well connected to the rest of the city. It struck the perfect balance between calm and convenience. Traveling with our dog can sometimes be hit or miss, but this hotel truly understands pet-friendly travel. When we arrived, there was a dog bed and food bowls already set up in our room, which was a thoughtful and very welcome touch. Even better, the maid service went out of their way to accommodate us, timing their room visits around our dog walks so everything felt effortless and stress-free. What really made the stay special, though, was the staff. Every single person we interacted with was friendly, professional, and genuinely helpful. Nothing felt forced or scripted—just warm, attentive service throughout our stay. If you’re looking for a comfortable, well-run hotel in San Sebastián that’s peaceful, dog-friendly, and staffed by people who clearly care, this is an excellent choice. Highly recommended.
