NH Madrid Zurbano

Avoid this hotel. The rooms do not match the listings. Hotel staff is not very freindly.

The hotel was good, friendly staff, free wifi and the room was clean. Excellent shower, lovely gentle lighting in the room, especially good for late at night and first thing in the morning. BUT there was no kettle or tea/coffee in the room! First hotel I've ever been to without this. And the bed was very hard, so I didn't sleep very well, unfortunately. Breakfast was good and open from early till late 7-10.30 (7.30-11.30 at the weekend). Also standard check out was 12pm which was good. Can't comment on value as this was paid by the conference organisers!

My stay at the hotel was overall good and comfortable. The staff were courteous, and the general atmosphere was pleasant. However, there are a few areas that require improvement to enhance the guest experience: • The Wi-Fi quality needs significant improvement, as the connection was unstable and slow at times. • The variety of food in the restaurant, especially at breakfast, was limited and could benefit from more diversity. • There was no kettle available in the room for preparing tea or coffee, which is considered a basic amenity in many hotels. • Complimentary bottled water was not provided daily, which would have been appreciated. With attention to these points, the overall guest experience could be considerably enhanced.

NH Zurbano is one of the best hotels in Madrid as far as price, quality, location and service are concerned. I regularly reserve rooms at NH Zurbano for friends and family who visit Madrid, doing so through the hotel's wonderful reservation manager, César Ruiz Banegas. Based on years of experience, I must say that everyone I deal with at the hotel is extremely kind and helpful. And the location is hard to beat: a two minute walk to the nearest Metro station and a 7 minute walk to Madrid's transport hub at Nuevos Ministerios. You simply can't go wrong.

Good location, relatively quiet street. Modern furnishings. Comfortable bed, clean room. Nice reception area.
