NH Valencia Las Ciencias

I had a very nice stay for a week april 2026 over Easter 🙏☺️ Nice and friendly staff all over. Good location close to Valencia center and the wonderful Jardin del Turia

Good location near Opera House and City of Arts and Sciences. One block from the #95 bus stops which will take you east to the sea or west to the city center. Modern high rise neighborhood with plenty of shops, bars, and restaurants. Friendly staff. Room slightly small, ready for refurbishment. Elevators in theory hold 6 but put 4 normal people in and it buzzes to tell you that you've exceeded the weight limit. We had to wait five minutes one morning to get an elevator to take us downstairs. Good value.

Nice practical hotel near Palau de les musica. A bit away from center of the city, but easy to reach via public transportation

Overall we really enjoyed our time in Valencia, we ate breakfast and a couple of dinners at Elba, literally next door and there was a fantastic Pizza restaurant across the road. We mainly came to see the City of Arts and Sciences and this hotel location was just right. However….. the hotel staff were not very impressive. When we arrived, earlier than expected, we asked if our room was ready and were told that it was. The check in took about 20 mins! The shabbily dresses young man whose name badge said ‘Christopher’ was very dithery! Eventually we were given the key to 201. Opening the door we were faced with a narrow, dark, gloomy room. A very small window at one end, which was not obviously an opening one, an extra single bed which took up most of the space in the small room. This room was horrible and nothing like the rooms that were on the website. We instantly returned to reception and complained, asking for a different room. Christopher and the young woman with him were totally pathetic, grinning and smiling slyly. The manager was called and it appeared that he wasn’t surprised!! He did give us another room on the fifth floor…..which we had to wait for. We didn’t eat here as the area set aside for breakfast wasn’t very nice …the cleaning trolly seemed to be stored there! We both felt that it was a ploy to try and get rid of the worst room!! A horrible start to what became a fabulous break.
