NH Zamora Palacio del Duero

This hotel was a real antidote to some bad experiences in previous hotels. What a welcoming! Everything was made ready for us. The rooms were nice, spacious and some had a balcony. The modern architecture blends wonderful with the old Roman church next to it and the old brick chimney. Modern and history going hand in hand. Not to mention the interior of the bar and restaurant. Thumbs up for the architect! A good hotel is however as good as the people working there and the service provided. On all of this I can only say... I am happy we landed here. It was really a relief and a joy to stay here and I wished we could have stayed more then one night. The food was simple but tasty, as was agreed, and the staf had managed to decorate the table so nicely. The wine in the bar was of good quality. The hotel was in a nice quiet area but close to the centre. I can recommend this hotel to anyone.

Warm welcome from Mercedes in 'Spanglish'. Comfortable room, excellent dinner and decent breakfast. Underground parking about pricey at 18€. Recommended.

Fantastic value for money. Exceptional check-in - receptionist was efficient and helpful, made recommendations for sightseeing and then later in the evening asked where we had been and how well we liked the restaurant. Room was a very good size, spotlessly clean, comfortable bed (slightly firm). Good bathroom. Downstairs bar/cafe pleasant

The hotel is near the cathedral and other historic buildings we were able to walk to. The room had a lovely view and was clean and comfortable.

The hotel is easy to find and in a lovely part of the town just over the road from the river. Very easy to walk to all the sites in the lovely town of Zamora which is just delightful. What a find this hotel was and also the town. The hotel building is very attractive and right next to a beautiful church. The room was spacious and comfortable and the breakfast was excellent.

We were very impressed by the structure of the hotel and how very charming and comfortable it was to stay there. The view from our vast balcony onto the convent and its tower was magical. Close proximity to the old town made it possible to visit many Romanesque churches and enjoy the culinary scene .
