The property is 15-30 minutes away from any sightseeing in the city.
It has restaurants close by, and coffee shops for breakfast right outside the building.
All the good parts end up here and the positive score I would rate these positive things will never get to a positive overall score because of the cleaning and communication, the good willness of the host.
To be improved
They have humidity issues, the walls are wet, and there is a lot of mold, literally everywhere, on walls, on the edge of the window, even on the lampshade there are mold spots.
The air inside when the windows are closed is so wet and so heavy to breath that a person with asthma or breathing issues can't stay inside too much.
No one cares about this because those large mold spots have been there for weeks, and they can, more or less, easily be cleaned/removed with chlorine-based substances and proper room ventilation.
The accommodation wasn't habitable when we checked-in, we tried to sleep for a few hours in the afternoon, and I had issues breathing.
We asked for another room, they said they don't have one.
We asked for a full refund, they refused, they refused even booking to cancel the accommodation and return the full amount to book something else.
They came inside, after 5h, while we were away, and they cleaned the mold using chlorine-based substances, which we all know takes hours, even days, to get the smell out. So we were forced to sleep in a chlorine-smelling room overnight..
After all these, they did not even clean the mold properly, as the bedroom had a lot of mold, and it remained unused during our stay, and we slept 2 adults and 1 kid in the living room ..
What the host did was to simply say they will help us, they will clean, they will do whatever.. they were just playing nice in the day of our arrival, but they ignored the mold and the dirt for weeks.
Also, the interior of the building smells odd, as wet, humid.
In addition to the main problem, the mold, there were other cleaning issues like coffee stains on kitchen tiles, dirty sink especially under the edge of the countertop, dirty toilet brush, sink smell in the bathroom, used shampoo sachets in the shower
Concluding, no matter what the host replies, this is lack of respect for customers, for human beings, for the work and effort we did to pay for our vacation, receiving garbage...
