No 2. Stunning 4-Bedroom Villa with Large Pool

We had a wonderful family holiday at the villa, great for both us, my son and my parents. The space is fully equipped with everything you could need for a comfortable, relaxing break plus extra homely touches like plentiful linens & towels, a separate utility space, heated pool, pod coffee machine, etc. The bedrooms are all complete with comfortable beds, fans, plentiful storage and the 2 double rooms also have en-suite bathrooms for privacy. We made great use of all the spaces outside - between the shaded sofas, pool loungers, dining area and a few tucked away quiet spots there was always somewhere perfect to relax. Louise is a fabulous host, took care to settle in my parents who travelled ahead of us and was always on hand to help with any requests. The location is great, well accessible from the airport and within comfortable driving distance of the lively harbour in corralejo, lovely local restaurants in lajares and the most beautiful white sand beaches in el cotillo.

This gorgeous villa is located on a quiet lane in the small inland town of La Oliva, roughly equidistant (20 minutes' drive) from coastal playgrounds El Cotillo and Corralejo, in the north of the island. It's supremely spacious (there were 7 of us, and it was hard to find family members at times), including a very private master bedroom with its own separate entrance, a handy washing/drying room, and a self-contained upstairs double room with en-suite/balcony that our solitude-seeking teenage daughter fell in love with. Everything was clean, pristine, and organised. The whole place was just so chill and calming, with light, soft colours, natural flow and a reviving, light, airy feel. The outside living space is sublime, with pretty plants, funny-looking bees, lizards in the day, geckos at night, and obligatory black volcanic pebble that you can try to toughen up your feet with by walking barefoot on. There are various outdoor spaces to dine, relax & unwind - all completely private. The swimming pool is incredible ... big, with a deep end, and bathed in sun for the whole day as the deck faces south to an uplifting vista of blue sky and sepia conical peaks. We paid a little extra to have the water heated for the week and the kids were never out of it. The villa owner Louise was lovely, chatty and personable, and very happy to give local info and tips. There are many thoughtful extras like pool toys along with parasols & windbreaker for the beach. Overall we can't overstate how much all of us loved this place, and we're already working out dates so we can go back again in the spring.

Villa was lovely, lots of space, excellent large pool with plenty of seating, including an under cover area. There was also a outdoor dining area with a barbecue. Hosts were excellent, even booking us a taxi into Corralejo.
