Nogalera Beach Apartment

Location is very central to both the beach and shopping areas. Train station is very close by.

The apartment was in a fantastic location 2 min walk to train station , main square and 10 mins to the beach . The apartment had fantastic sea views. The apartment was very modern.

The apartment is just as shown in the photos. It retains a couple of what I assume are original Nogalera features like the stone fireplace and some wooden panelling, but it has also enjoyed a modern renovation giving a great look and feel. Well equipped kitchen and good shower rooms. Smart TV and good Wi-Fi. Plenty towels and some soap etc. to get you started. It’s in the large Nogalera block furthest from the Plaza and Station which means it has an excellent unrestricted view up the coast towards Malaga and beyond. The Host, Carlos, swiftly answered all contact and was able to meet us off the train late at night to give us the keys, even accommodating our delayed arrival. At the end of our stay, as the apartment was not booked for the next day, he allowed us to stay till later in the day. His assistance was most welcome. If you don’t know the area, be aware that some access routes into the block are through walkways under the Nogalera blocks which are home to bars and clubs of the local LGBT scene. Particularly during the day these areas look somewhat dark, tired and unappealing. We never felt uncomfortable or unsafe, but it would be understandable if some were nervous using them. Note that there are routes into the block which avoid them if you prefer. At night they can be lively and colourful but we were never disturbed by the noise.
