Nordik Rooms Urban - Centro "Helsinki"

I was very disappointed to find out that there is no housekeeping service for the rooms, only the common areas. I stayed for 5 nights so I would have really appreciated fresh sheets and a clean floor. They only give you two small towels for the duration of your stay. The walls were quite dirty in my room, and the room was extremely small with a tiny window and no view. I booked a double room, which is advertised to have a coffee machine but this is only in the common area.

The room and apartment was small/narrow and quite dark. Also the air in the common area is quite humid due to the washing machine.

It was a little bit noisy on Friday and Saturday nights next to the main square.

It was not that clear that it was shared bathroom and kitchen. The walls are quite thin, so we would hear everything in the next room. We didn’t receive any cleaning in our room for 3 days. Because the doors are opened with codes, we would see random kids hanging out at the stairs and it felt a bit unsafe at some point. Due to the very central location, it was quite noisy at night until 3-4 AM. Most annoyingly, we didn’t have wifi throughout our stay, when I got in touch with the property via Booking chat or whatsapp, i was responded by an AI chat. I informed them multiple times, and because they didn’t respond, I escalated the issue to Booking as well, but they don’t respond to them in time either.

My room had a really bad odour. The AC would not work so my room heated up so high it was too hot in the room. It was cooler outside. When I tried to find a location staff were extremely extremely rude. I would call them. Someone would pick up the phone and they would pretend to answer my question and cut the phone. This happened at least five times.
