“Elegant and simple lodging next to an amazing market! Highly recommend!”

The best

The Pension changed owner a year ago and she has done a great job making this seemingly simple hotel a true jem! I stayed in a dubble room one night with our own WC/bathroom, this room lacked a fan but had windows in two directions. The second night I stayed alone in a dubble bed room with a shower and sink, no WC. It had a beautiful view over the old market and a ceiling fan! Both chique and tastefully decorated.

To be improved

Beds in Spain are in general much harder than in Sweden and this place was no exception, I still slept better here than in most other beds during the trip! The place only has one WC for women (if you don’t have it in your room) and it doesn’t have a sink, which I also think is common in Spain. As a menstruating woman I’d say this is a miss in the renovation tho. I want a toilet and sink in the same room to feel comfortable. But very clean and beautiful!!

The staff is very friendly and helpful, Mary was so kind and care of us to have a pleasant stay. The property is in a great location. It was really clean and smelling nice when we arrived. It is very good value for your money.

To be improved

There is no fan or AC in the room and it can be very hot during the summer, when open the windows was too noisy because of the location. The wifi was not the best, partially worked during our stay and really slow.

A wonderful, budget-friendly option in the heart of Santander. The room was clean and modern, and the owner, Mariana, was incredibly helpful and welcoming. She gave us great recommendations for local restaurants. The location is perfect, especially for those arriving by bus or train. Highly recommended for a comfortable and affordable stay
