Its elegant decor and fantastic location

The staff seemed preoccupied, even anxious. Or maybe my Spanish wasn’t good enough. Rather, I could say they were traditional, old-school, and serious; and while they were always helpful and professional, I found them a little unapproachable and dour.

We like so much the service. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean and hotel is super close to the city center.

Rooms have small windows with not sufficient natural ventilation.

“a very old 'new' hotel”

it wasn't until after we'd checked in and left our bags in our rooms that we realised just how close we were to Plaza del Arenal, the cathedral and the alcázar. The location couldn't be better. And the man who checked us in was extremely helpful and kind, as was the woman who said we could leave our bags for a few hours the next day. Despite its name, the hotel is very old, or at least it looks like a very old house, with shuttered doors and windows, and tiles ------ I absolutely adored everything about this hotel, including the bathroom toiletries
