“Avoid the old apartments, far too expensive for what they are.”

The best

The pool is great and staff is nice. I did not pay for breakfast so I dont know how good it was. The kitchen in the apartment was the best thing about the room, I was staying in one of the old apartments instead one of the new villas.

To be improved

The old apartments are obsolete in many ways. The furniture is dated, and although there's plenty of potential to improve the space, everything—except the kitchen—needs a major revamp. The bathroom is small considering the overall size of the apartment, and the bathtub is practically unusable—far too small to be functional. The air conditioning units are very old and, inexplicably, installed at floor level—only a genius would think that's a good idea. The French doors between the bedroom and the terrace also need to be replaced. They're single-glass doors, and there should be external blackout curtains installed to block the sun and prevent the bedroom from overheating. Avoid these outdated apartments—opt for the villas instead. They're a much better choice.

“Overall, really nice 10-day family holiday!”

The best

Clean and well kept venue. Staff were very polite and helpful. Good location within a short walk to the small port full of bars, restaurants and shops. Versus a lot of the other venues/complexes around, Nuramar was really quite in comparison which was great. There were families with children similar ages to our (5 & 3) but the pool never felt overrun and the volume never reached a silly level. Lots of international families - Spanish, French, Dutch which was nice.

To be improved

Food options very limited around the pool, we didn't try the breakfast which seemed quite expensive at €10 p/h versus making something in the villa or popping to a local restaurant or café. Other slight frustration, or piece of advice if you are looking to book/stay at Nuramar - don't wear white bathing suits in the pool. All of ours turned a strange yellow, which would be down to the chlorine in the pool - bit annoying to have to throw a few sets of trunks away but first world problems!

“Worth the money.”

The best

Excellent location, great staff, pool was lovely and relaxed with plenty of beds. Easy parking either at the front or on the streets beside the apartment. Beds were comfortable. 3 aircon units around the apartment.

To be improved

Kitchen was severely limited. 2 electric hob rings, a microwave, a kettle and a toaster. Some utensils but not many. Ok if you're not intending to cook. Sliding doors didn't lock properly - a metal pin was used to hold the doors shut.

“Much better than expected, with a gorgeous pool”

The best

Lovely and helpful staff, made checkin and checkout easy and had some good recommendations for restaurants in Ciutadella. Also great location with small shop (although overpriced) nearby and a 5-10 minute walk from the harbour with restaurants. Very nice pool which was never overcrowded despite the hotel being full at the time. Air con in the rooms very appreciated in the 34 degree heat!!!

To be improved

Limited parking, although street parking was available round the back. Also no shampoo or body gel provided, just bottles of hand soap in the showers.

“Short steam bath”

Nice staff in the night and morning shifts. Nice location . Very quiet

To be improved

200 euro a night - stained towels, and room not ready while arriving late at night. The aircon was broken and no one cared to check the room before the arrival. Was a steam hot bath.
