“Superb location, great bar and overall good experience.”

The best

Room was clean, tidy and modern. Service was terrific, especially Adrian in the bar/restaurant where we dined and had cocktails at the bar every day. Location was excellent

To be improved

Breakfast was a mixed result for us. Bacon was super tasty….but cold (Bain-Marie not switched on both days). Only scrambled eggs and limited choice of cereal. Juices were lovely, pastries too. Room fridge was appreciated but too small.

“Excellent place to stay in Bilbao, close to everything. The staff were amazing!”

The best

Fabulous location, great for the old town, right on the river. The modern city across the river and less than an easy 20 minute walk to the Guggenheim Museum and Funicular. Staff couldn’t have been more helpful!

To be improved

Our room was more suitable for a couple, however, it did fit an extra bed for a third person

“Excellent location”

The best

This is the ideal place to stay when exploring old town Bilbao. The hotel had a hip, fun feel to it. Asier helped us at the front desk and he is fantastic! The hotel does not provide parking but, there is a parking garage approximately two minute walk from the hotel. We had no problems at all.

“Great, wallet friendly hotel”

The best

Brilliant stay in a wonderfully positioned hotel - right in the old town! Had an issue checking in as Expedia didn't send through our request for a twin room. The staff were so helpful and great about it. We were initially given a double and asked to check again in the morning so we could get a twin, however five minutes later they'd managed to find us one! The hotel is clean, modern, quiet and with great air-con (perfect for those middle aged hot flushes!). The beds were slightly too hard for me, but I'm middle aged, and everything hurts these days... All in all a great, wallet friendly hotel that's perfect for exploring Bilbao. We didn't book breakfast, as there are so many great cafes, bakeries and brunch spots within a few minutes walk.

“Not great!”

The best

First impressions count!… despite having filled in all the forms on line the check in procedure was mayhem!… I had booked 8 rooms in total and on check in they wanted me to pay in full for the 3 rooms for my family… I have travelled all over the world & NEVER have I been asked to pay in advance… the rooms are compact .. lots of little things are annoying… sporadic water replacement and no plug in the sink… when we asked for a plug they said “we don’t offer them for hygiene reasons”…. how utterly ridiculous… we found the staff brusque … also no valet parking which was irritating … the plus point is the location
