“Great family stay”

My family loved staying there. Room airy, area with many food options and, close to public transportation. It made it easy to see the sights in Madrid.

“Great stay.”

The best

The bed was so comfortable and big. The balcony was great. Hotel was so clean and staff super friendly and helpful. The pool area - Superb. Also there was a male colleague reception staff who was incredible. It is thanks to him that I will be staying here for a week once a month for business.

To be improved

The room had little storage for clothes and very few hangers. It was also smaller than anticipated. Also, every morning decaf coffee was given as opposed to a mixture of caffeinated and de-caffeinated. So make sure you ask for a mix if that is what you want. More gluten free options would be so helpful. If you can't provide that then please be a little considerate when people have to bring in outside food as GF customers cannot be catered for. I couldn't eat with my husband as there was nothing available.

“Excellent hotel but just unfortunate we had some unforeseen problems”

The hotel looked fantastic, very clean and helpful staff. The rooftop pool and bar was great as were the coffee facilities and water in reception

To be improved

The only negative was the unfortunate leak in the hotel which resulted in no hot water for 24hrs and no lifts working . As it was my sons 21st birthday present (to visit the football grounds), it was a shame that we couldn’t shower before going out for his birthday meal and walking up to the 5th several times was very tiring after a day of walking round the city. This wasn’t anyone’s fault but it did spoil his birthday a little .

“Lovely hotel”

The best

Currently staying here with my 5 year old son. Done two stadium tours in Madrid and stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. Lovely hotel. Everything you could ask for. Friendly staff, modern facilities and great sized room. Location is perfect for a Real Madrid stadium tour. Impeccably clean and the rooms are peaceful and quiet. Thank you for having us NYX Hotel

The best

Large, modern hotel in a quieter area of the city (but with a Michelin-starred restaurant across the street!) Clean rooms w/ carpeted floors, good blackout curtains, comfortable beds (though duvet too warm), minifridge, safe, coffeemaker, complimentary water, hair/body wash wall dispenser, dual shower heads in bathtub w/ touchy temperature control. Windows open, but the thermostat is a bit confusing. Standard full breakfast buffet. Nice staff (Armando at the front desk was very gracious/helpful).

“Not bad”

The best

The cheapest room category which appeared to be good for traveling solo and on a business trip is really a ‚shoebox room‘. It’s alright, but it’s been a while that I was sleeping in an actual single be, and never in hotels as hip as this one. A soap dispenser is one of the little things I missed - and maybe the Netflix app. Location is okay. Pool is also ok but was super crowded every day. The nice lounge beds had a reserve sign on them all the time, but no one was using them. Other than that try and be a German, that is get there early and place your towel. Almost all was ‚in use‘ any time I wanted to go, but it appeared people were not actually on the rooftop. Rooftop bar only takes cash or card, no writing on the room which was good because I didn’t spend more money than really needed but also inconvenient when you leave everything in your room. Overall not a bad choice, but more promising on the outside. With one exception: breakfast was amazing!
