An Unforgettable Experience – For Everyone! Even if you’re not a birdwatching enthusiast, Observatorio de Aves Mas de Bunyol is absolutely awe-inspiring. Watching Griffon Vultures up close is a breathtaking experience, and José and Lilo’s passion for these magnificent birds makes it even more special. Unlike a traditional hide, the viewing is from a well-thought-out observation room, complete with sound, so you can hear the powerful rush of wings and the calls of the vultures as they interact. It’s a truly immersive experience that stays with you long after you leave. We also stayed overnight, which made the visit even more memorable. The accommodation was comfortable, and the breakfast was absolutely delicious—a perfect way to start the day surrounded by nature. Whether you’re a keen birdwatcher or just someone who appreciates unique experiences, this is something you won’t want to miss. Highly recommended!

They do not serve dinner if staying overnight, so make sure you eat before you arrive or take something with you.

quiet area and convenient to witness the vulture feeding Theo next day.

To be improved

access between the rooms and your car can be a bit challenging if you need something from your car. cars are not parked close to the rooms and access is via a narrow unpaved trail. it pays to plan carefully what items you need in your room.
