Occidental Barcelona 1929

This was an amazing stay. Rooms where in excellent condition, very clean and quiet. Very close to shopping, tours and dining. It was perfecto.

I had a great experience staying at this hotel. The location was perfect—close to everything I needed, yet quiet and comfortable. The room was clean, spacious, and well-equipped, with a very comfortable bed. The staff were especially friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with any questions or requests. Check-in and check-out were smooth and efficient. Breakfast was also a highlight, with a good variety of fresh and tasty options. Overall, the hotel offers excellent value for money. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Great location. Near lots of shops and restaurants. Also next to the metro. Comfortable rooms. Could do with a little more storage. Shower was large and had great pressure. The aircon was noisy and also only went down to 21 degrees. Also, music could be heard from the corridor, and the corridor noise from people could be easily heard in the room. Pool is a little small. Bar on top floor but a little noisy if trying to relax.

As a Barcelo employee, I stayed here and everything was perfect. I would like to thank all the staff once again for their friendliness and excellent service. If I ever come to Barcelona again, this will definitely be the hotel I choose to stay at.

Great hotel, room was a bit warm. Air con wasn't available I assume due to the season. Great base for visiting all parts of barcelona. Metro stop directly outside with great links to all major tourists spots and the airport. €22 for a 30 day t-usual travel card. Fantastic value for money. Great location for visiting the palau Santi Jordi stadium which was the main reason for our visit. Short walk through the montjuic area and park and we were there! Las arenas shopping centre around the corner was great with lots of variety of shops/food etc. Sun bakery next door was lovely and really good value for money. Didn't sample the hotel breakfast or bar so cant comment on those but the overall atmosphere of the hotel was fantastic. Lots of construction going on outside the hotel but this is the case for lots of areas of barcelona at the moment. Will definitely return in the future.

Great, well mantained hotel in an excellent location and directly next to metro entrance and convient to various attractions. Staff are all friendly and professional.
