Occidental Cádiz

Noisy ! The traffic noise outside is ALL NIGHT, no slowing down, no lessening, it's really loud. Hotel is basic 3 star hotel, not pretty, but clean, and comfortable-ish. We got 2 twin beds for some reason, and then they joined them together with a sheet the 2nd night. Bathroom very basic, but good lighting. Room was spacious. But no frills or pleasant additions at all. 1 black tea bag. No aircon, and the room got to a sweltering 25 degres, in NOVEMBER !! We forced the window open to get some air, and wedged the door open with bathtowels. It was that hot. Breakfast is plentiful, lots of choice, but cheap and unwholesome foods. Staff were all - every single one - EXCELLENT, and cannot be faulted. We were kindly able to keep our room til 2.15pm, for free, and that is a wonderful thing.

Fantastic Hotel, Fantastic Staff, Fantastic Location what more can be said. Absolutely brilliant all round hotel Having stayed in the Occidental hotel Fuengirola which as also brilliant I can thoroughly recommend the Occidental Cádiz. Wonderful staff wonderful hotel

Nice room with lots of space. Very clean. Lots of variety at breakfast which was included with the room.

The bed was so comfortable and near the beach

I would highly recommend this hotel for a clean and comfortable stay when visiting Cadiz. The beach is only a very short distance away. The public transport is excellent, with frequent bus services from 6am to 1am every day and only costing 1 Euro 10 cents per journey into the old town if you don't have a hire car. The cleaning team kept the room in immaculate condition and were very patient as we do not like to rush first thing in the morning.
