“Fab apartment”

The best

Very comfortable apartment with comfy sofa, kitchen facilities and bedrooms. One is ensuite and the other has a separate bathroom. Benefit of air-conditioning in bedrooms as well as main living quarters. Rooftop pool and terrace great! Close to the Cathedral. Thank you

It's a 20 minute walk into the centre.

Location of property was good and was fully equipped and clean.

We were not given the apartment which we had booked. There was no fresh air as the windows had been blocked for privacy. We were family of 4 and were given an apartment with only 1 bathroom whereas we had specifically booked the one with 2 bathrooms in the same building. Complete misrepresentation and cheating was done with us. We were asked for more money to change the apartment which was a case of extortion. The host was not cooperative at all.

“Sun and Sangria”

The best

The location is a short walk to the outskirts of the old city, which is where most visitors on holiday would like to be. Being in a fundamentally residential area the apartment is, in the main, quiet. The kitchen was equipped with everything you would need for a shot break. There is a fridge freezer which is very useful. There is a terrace with a small pool which on a hot day is very welcome. The old town and Plaza de España are within a short walk from the apartment. Also, the Airport shuttle bus has a terminal at the San Bernardo train station which costs 5 euro and only about an 8min walk from the property.

The bedrooms are relatively small, my wife had her case in the room but mine was left in the hallway. Obviously, the room size is, the room size so there is nothing to be done concerning this issue. In the publicity, photographs of the pool and terrace area have been maximised to advantage, in reality the pool is a lot smaller, but adequate to cool off and put in a few strokes before you reach the other end. The sun loungers, deck chairs etc. have obviously been chosen for the look of them and certainly not for comfort! Maybe there was a cushion store which eluded us!

“Loved Seville, apartment nice but the hosts need to up their game!”

We never met our hosts although we did have notice that someone would meet us at the property on our arrival but didn't happen and a request for a few bin bags and a clean towel also went unanswered. Most annoyingly the cushions for the sun beds in the pool area were removed 3 days before we were due to leave because the owner was worried about it raining - we did say we would bring the cushions in if it did rain but they wouldn't return them so that put a dampner on our last 3 days. I think for the money we were paying for the week the hosts could have been more helpful and responsive.

“Nice apartment away from tourist crowds”

The best

The apartment was well decorated and furnished. Water pressure was good in the shower and each room had air conditioning. Plenty of storage in the bedrooms if you wanted to fully unpack. You can find on road parking nearby but you need to be mindful of road signs to check it's ok to park there. It's slightly further out of the city centre - maybe 15 minutes by foot to Plaza de España but this also meant it wasn't as crowded with tourists.

We found the area to be a little noisy at night and the walls (or ceilings) were quite thin so we could hear our neighbours. It wasn't clear to us exactly where we should take the rubbish at the end of the trip (we ended up using bins on the streets). When we checked in the previous guests had left a pizza box which wasn't disposed of (we did get a prompt apology from the owners). Also the beds were quite firm which was a little uncomfortable.
