“Outstanding Apartment, Highly Recommended.”

Outstanding location. The apartment itself was brilliant and the outdoor area itself was huge. The plunge pool was very welcome indeed for the warm evenings and the apartment was fully stocked with everything we needed, highly recommended. The negative noted below is an issue but hopefully won’t influence guests to much, the apartment itself is outstanding!

To be improved

Ok. This rooftop apartment was (obviously) on the top floor of the building. The lift didn’t work (TBH, it looked like it hasn’t worked for quite a while) for the duration of the stay. We reported this at the start of our visit but to no avail. Note that this means you have 6 flights of stairs to navigate which is ok but is a bit of a challenge with heavy suitcases or after a long day in 40 degree Seville heat!

Unfortunately there was building work next door which started at 7am every morning and was so loud we couldn’t sit out in the pool or lower terrace. They were cutting steel so extremely noisy

“Superb”

The best

Amazing apartment and location! The dipping pool was a huge plus in the 100° weather, and the kids loved it! The location is absolutely perfect, it is a 10 to 15 minute walk from all the sites of interest. Right next to royal alcazar and the cathedral and only 15 minutes from the plaza España. The apartment is spacious, and the rooftop area is ideal for kids to run around and play.

To be improved

Floors weren’t very clean at all when we arrived, and I cleaned them myself a couple of times. Communication from the host could’ve been a bit better, they messaged on WhatsApp, through booking, and confused our booking with another (they called me at three in the morning US time and woke me up). They also didn’t proactively provide check out instructions in a timely manner. Overall, however, the apartment was excellent!! it would’ve been a 10/10 instead of 9/10 if the communication had been a bit better and the floors have been cleaner

Location was good and the agent met us to give us the key.

To be improved

The property is not maintained. Ceiling in main bedroom had brown water marks, and over the bed the plaster is puckering and split. The roof deck plantings are dead/dying. No pool towels provided. Not clear in summary that the pool was up a steep set of steps, nor the 2 of the bedrooms were down steep steps. Main floor bathroom ridiculously small and hard to navigate. Also ants in living room and main bathroom, spiders in downstairs bedroom.
