Misleading booking, hidden charges, and very poor customer service We booked a loft apartment at Oh My Loft Valencia through Booking.com for 2 adults and 3 children (ages 10, 14 and 15). Our booking confirmation showed this clearly. However, when we arrived, the property claimed the booking was for 2 adults and 3 infants and demanded an extra €180. This was extremely upsetting, especially as we had already confirmed our details with the property days earlier and Booking.com had reassured us that everything was in order. The charges were only disclosed on the day of arrival, leaving us with no option but to pay. To make matters worse, the staff member on reception was rude and unprofessional. She raised her voice over us, dismissed our concerns, and bluntly told us “the problem is yours, you made the mistake.” This was deeply frustrating because the evidence clearly shows that the issue was not caused by us, but by misleading information on the Booking.com listing and poor communication from the property. This attitude and lack of responsibility from the property created significant stress for our family and completely overshadowed our stay. We have travelled widely and have never experienced such poor treatment. The way this property advertises itself on Booking.com is misleading — it recommends the apartment for 2 adults and 3 children, yet charges extra when you arrive with exactly that. For these reasons, I would strongly caution other families to avoid this property. 21/08/2025

“Brilliant accommodation, incredibly helpful and welcoming staff!”

The property is an incredible use of space! The rooms we booked held up to six people very easily! The pool is great, and padel court is incredible! I highly recommend this location to all!

To be improved

There was little to nothing wrong with this property. The staff were amazing, the property is very modern, incredibly comfortable, and had high quality facilities. The only thing I would mention is that the hotel is a little bit out of the city centre (10-15 min drive), so if you do not have a car, the taxi prices cqn add up quickly if not in a big group!

“Lovely stay in Valencia”

The loft is equipped with everything you need for more than a comfortable stay - a dishwasher, a nice kitchen, a washing machine, and two bathrooms. Really clean and comfortable property very close to the train stations, LIDL, McDonald's. Staff was also very helpful.

To be improved

You can tell that there has been a lot invested in the property so the only fault we found the shower curtain in the down stairs bathroom. It would look so much neater and nicer if there was a cabin rather than a shower curtain (which looks cheap and does not fit in with the level of greatness of the loft).
