Ohtels Campo De Gibraltar

Stayed here a few times and this is a good budget hotel similar to Premier Lodge in UK. Beds are large and rooms are clean. Rooms have a small fridge and the TV has a few English speaking channels BBC, ITV, 4 and 5. I used the bar for food a couple of times and everything was good, a nice lounge and area to sit outside. A big negative was the wifi when i mentioned it i was told because its busy. Not very good in this day and age!! This hotel is much better than the near by AC Hotel, its closer to the town centre, the airport and border. Much better rooms etc. Ask for view facing Gibraltar which is all lit up at night. Definitely recommend.

I just had the best nights sleep in this hotel, and I never sleep well in hotels! The room was a perfect temperature and bed was really comfy. The shower was powerful and my favourite item in the room was the kettle! 😆 I hate those pod machines so I was ao happy to see a regular kettle. They also provided 2 bottles of water and a fridge. We stayed there so that we could use the main car park at the border and walk across to Gibraltar. Perfect hotel for all our needs. At reception there is also a good vending machine and microwave. Will return in the summer when the pool and pool bar are open. Its also worth mentioning that we paid for a standard room but had good views of The Rock of Gibraltar

This hotel was a positive surprise. It's located near bus station and the town centre, a short walk from Gibraltar. The personnel at the reception were nice, and I got my room early. The room is what you can expect of a big chain hotel. I was happy with my room, it even had a balcony with a partial view towards the see. The only disadvantage were the thin walls - there was some noise fro the corridor, but that's a problem in most Spanish hotels. In February the hotel was not full, so it might be worse in the high season. The breakfast buffet was big and not most logically arranged but the food was good. All in all, this hotel was good value for the money.

Overall very good indeed for the price paid and location ideal for Gibraltar. Stayed 3 nights, over the weekend, average price €75 including a very good breakfast in nice airey restaurant. One little gripe was the irritating pop music being played in the dining room. The rooms themselves were fine, had a challenge finding any English language TV channels other than local Gibraltan, but didn't bother to raise this issue. At this time of year the AC system is on heating mode and south facing rooms can get very warm indeed (with the heating AC system off) so needed to sleep with the balcony doors wide open, it was still very warm. However wonderful views to the Rock (extra charge per night for this view) and all the staff very helpful, efficient and friendly.

Location is very good. Only 5min away to Gibraltar border. The room is specious, tidy and clean. The hotel is dated but worth the price. Recommend 👍🏼
