Ohtels La Hacienda

I absolutely loved this hotel and had the most wonderful experience! From the moment we entered the hotel till the very end of our trip, I couldn’t fault it. The staff were fantastic and always helpful and full of smiles. They made us feel so welcomed and ensured to arrange taxis, advised about places to go, helped us with apps to get food delivered very late at night, etc. Pretty much anything we needed. The buffet was always full of options but not repetitive. I loved that they had a large variety of fresh fruits and bakery which I loved. My son really enjoyed having his pancakes made in front of him which he could not get enough of. Children are extremely well catered to and they also had an outdoor area where there was entertainment as well as pool tables, games, etc. The hotel also has water play/slides for kids which we didn’t use. It is very conveniently located only a short walk to a beautiful sandy beach. Plenty of shops around too. Our room came with a balcony which was lovely. I’d absolutely recommend the hotel.

This hotel is definitely not up to a 4-star standard, although I can say the cleanliness is satisfactory. The female bar staff were very rude(outside), with poor customer service skills and unwelcoming attitudes toward customers. The snack bar was disappointing, and the overall quality of food and drinks at the bar was poor. The outdoor pool was freezing, and the breakfast wasn’t great — lunch and dinner were slightly better but still average. The surrounding area is quite boring overall. The adventure theme park nearby is overpriced, and queues can be over an hour long unless you pay for a fast-track ticket. However, even with fast track, be aware that most rides require a minimum height of 140 cm. On a positive note, the park and sports facilities are fantastic for children, especially boys who enjoy sports.

Food was awful snack bar staff horrible and rude . The best thing about this hotel was gaga children's entertainment he was a great guy ..

Had a great family holiday. Stayed for 1 week half board. Plenty of choice at breakfast (recommend the omelette station) and evening meal. The beer is very cheep compared to the UK. I recommend buying their water bottles at €3 and they fill them up with ice cold water whenever you want Swimming pool is nice size and the kids pool is good as well. The slides for the older children were okay and still open at the end of October. The place is also kept very clean. It’s a short walk from the beach. If you turn right out of the hotel and keep walking to the very end you get to the water park and more shops. Also there is the bus stop in short walking distance to go to tarragona , cambrills or Salou. You can buy a bus card with 10 trips for about €12 which does the whole family. When you get on the bus you just tap it for the number of tickets required. I would definitely come back to this hotel if I was staying in this area, great customer service, great location and had everything I needed. We also did the paddle board which we enjoyed. Paid extra for this. We didn’t use the indoor pool (extra charge for this ) as we were blessed with great weather. I have included a picture from my balcony which shows how close the slides, big pool and slides are close together as this is not clear on jet2 website. Kids play area and paddle courts are above. Great holiday.

The reception guy ,I dont know his name was so very helpful with helping me book my tickets for the PortAdventura world and Ferrari Land. I found the catering staff very friendly and helpful, a big thank you to Mercedes always smiling and asking me how I am ,she is an amazing person and a big asset to the hotel and the team. I love old guy who said 'English tea for English lady' , he is so sweet, and all the other members of the team. I choose all inclusive so I dont need to worry about starving ,there was quite a selection of starters ,mains and desserts which was too much for me I dont have a sweet tooth. I stuck with my salads and fruit . I was glad there was halal food available which made my experience great and I thoroughly enjoyed it,I even tried fish. My room was cleaned and was left with fresh towels everyday. The WiFi in the part of the building I stayed kept losing connection which wasn't great and annoying. I enjoyed my stay and would recommend highly.

Really enjoyed, great for families. Not too busy and plenty to do for the kids. Activities for all the family. Activity staff excellent, made you feel really welcome and get everybody involved, especially Gaga. Football area kept kids busy in between the other activities. Nice pool area with slides. Doesn’t open until 10 so no rush to get sunbeds. Not for from beach and a short bus ride to salou. Good choice of food. Hotel very clean . I would highly recommended
