There is only one issue and they can do nothing about it. One of the big thing going for it was how central it is to the bars and restaurants that is also it down side. It was noisy late at night. Till 4am one night at least. The windows are original and the building must be 100s of years old so the sound proofing is really non existent The quieter rooms are the single and middle double

As other reviews have noted, the apartment sits above a bar. On our first night (Saturday night) the bar was open until 5am and the noise was unbelievable. Thankfully it was quieter on subsequent evenings. There was also a sort of balcony (in which the TV sat, so not really accessible) which had strip lighting. Insofar as I could see it was not possible to turn these off anywhere. The bedroom nearest the windows had curtains the nearside of the strip lights, which helped, but this is an odd feature. The shower is very powerful, as others have noted: the trick is to not put the tap on completely and that way it will stay where you want it, and not comically flip up, spraying the wall opposite. Tricky to use the Nuki app to sort the keys, but we got there in the end.

Very loud noise from bar below appartment

Noise - if you are looking to be out drinking in old town until early morning Thursday -Saturday fine,otherwise the noise of everyone else partying in the street(on warm nights without rain) will keep you awake.With the provided earplugs it is just about possible to sleep in the middle double bedroom but not the front double bedroom.The space has a lack of natural light due to the narrow street it sits on.The shower has brilliant pressure but you have to hold the shower head in your hand as if you put it in the wall clip the pressure causes the shower head to fire water directly at the ceiling! A lack of sharp chopping knives in the kitchen.Access to flat involves downloading a phone app for first entry,it is fine after that as you can use normal keys.
