Verified reviews from real guests who have already stayed here.
The pool is impressive; however, maintenance is sometimes needed due to seawater.
Staff were described as friendly and helpful, though some experienced long waits.
Rooms are spacious and comfortable with modern decor.
The location is charming but some found it lacking in vibrancy and local amenities.
Overall enjoyable stay with numerous positives, but some concerns.
Dining options could be improved; one review noted overpriced meals.
“Costa del Constant Wind”
Mixed feelings, I would give 3.5 if I could. The good parts: Total EMF silence, that part is very important to me as being sensitive, I slept very well, it was a treat after a constant insomnia experienced in the UK. Comfortable beds and duvets given (was necessary because of the weather). Well equipped kitchen Everything was new and clean however a little soul-less (colours and qualtiy of furniture). Nice big balcony, spacious living area Nice strong shower (shame that it was fixed at high and I had to hold it in one hand), modern hairdryer with ionizer, good mirrors. No one bothers you with daily cleaning in different times preventing you to enjoy a siesta time. Nice and helpful staff (most of them). The not soo god parts: Gorgeous swimming pool but ice cold, freezing, the weather was very poor, strong wind all along except my last day, with huge guts, the pool couldn't warm up even till afternoon. When the waves were too high it brought in tons of seaweed into the pool. (In a similar situation you can go to Westheaven, 1.4 km on foot or bus 467 and can swim in a heated pool, 22-23C but 17-18 for extra 15 and from it 10 can be spent in the restauront of theirs.) The small beach next to the hotel is totally useless, on a lower water level big stones - like steps - are visible and full with cms high slippy algaes, no safe way in our out. The ladder part (from the hotel) doesn't work anymore and closed. The door to that direction (I wanted to use to shorten to my way to WestHeaven) looked to be closed all the times I checked. When the pool will be ok for swimming the rooms probably will be too hot as there is no aircon. The bedroom is at the corridor with a huge window (noise) The breakfast is disgusting, especially the fried eggs if you arrive late, go at early morning, totally different experience. Lots of extra costs. I don't know how much others paid but for me as solo traveller, the rooms are always more expensive. Alltogether with the flight (and without airport transfer) and on a B&B it cost me above 1000 (pounds) for a week. You have to pay for the safe, you have to pay if you want to change the towels, but which was the most outrageous, that they were not willing to call me a taxi on the last day to go to the airport but only book one. The taxi from the airport is 23 EUR, that price is stated at the NEARBY (but I was alone to struggle all of the luggages) station is also 23 EUR, the hotel will book one for 36 EUR, the taxi company (via net, pre-booking) is 32 EUR. When I mentioned that they called me taxi for shopping the eldery gentleman at the reception told me that they could call a taxi anywhere but to the airport, only booking! Also as I paid the room for 2 (probably reason of the high price) I would love to have 2 big and 2 small towels but only one. The cleaning woman appeared just once, not an issue, the issue was that they declared a date and she came 2 days later (almost the end of holiday) and they didn't provide even a bin liner to easily discard the litter or an extra toilet roll. However they provided everything for self-cleaning (washing up liquid, mop, etc). I also spend a lot for a useable swimming pool (above). The little town is charming but there is no a good store if you would be a bit on the fussy side, I had to take taxis to the little town near the airport where there was HyperDino and Mercandona to stock up for the week, it cost an extra 30, 2 ways. I didn't try to swim at the port' beach but after researching I am not sure it is any better, I mean if you like to swim in the ocean but on a safe beach I doubt they have any. Slippy stones and so or too wavy areas. Still I think I would go back, it is mainly for the EMF silence and for the pool but wouldn't during much warmer times, winter maybe or a bit later in spring then the beginning of March. There are no masts and cluster antenneas visible around and I definitely felt the difference. Otherwise for this amount (with extras) I could be at Costa Adeje's one of the 4* hotels.
“perfect”
The hotel was amazing. The seawater pool right by the sea was a highlight, and there were plenty of sun loungers on the beach. The food was very diverse and delicious, and the rooms were clean, spacious, and comfortable. The location was perfect – overall, a dream stay.
“I would definitely recommend this hotel!”
I had a wonderful stay at this hotel in Tenerife. The food was excellent, with plenty of delicious options to choose from. The room was beautiful—clean, modern, and very comfortable. The pool area was outstanding, with lots of sun loungers available, making it easy to relax and enjoy the sunshine. I would definitely recommend this hotel!
“Only good vibes”
Awesome hotel. Amazing pool with sea water where you can swim even it's a bad weather for beach. Yummy and various breakfast, lunch and dinner. Also I want to hightlight the perfect job of animation team with interesting activities (like pilates, aqua gym, dancing, games and parties). Two beautiful girls and Carlo were on the top. Reception is always ready to help you. The location is also good, supermarket and bus stop are near hotel. The room has a big space and enough light with a balcony where you can enjoy your time. Clean. No doubt, it's the best place to enjoy your time in the south of Tenerife with family.
