Bathrooms get very humid and wet, on the small side. Some rooms didn't seem to have windows... The common room is small and doesn't have AC.

On arrival, albeit very late, I was unable to access the building and hence my bed. Whilst a representative of the hostel had indeed tried to call me, I hadn’t picked up the call. I was obliged to engage the service of the local police to help me. I would suggest that perhaps a keypad entry to open the outside door would be extremely useful.

The interaction with the owner when I raised a safety concern about the property. Booking.com could not resolve this either. In future I will look more closely at host responses to unfavorable reviews before I book. No separate toilet, 11 guests and 2 bathrooms - be prepared to wait for toilet access. Listing says soundproof rooms but this was incorrect for Room 1 where we stayed. No street noise but walls so thin and gap under door so we were disturbed by guests talking in common area, using bathroom next door and walking (quietly) along the corridor. We are used to some noise but this was more than usual. Room 1 has no external window, be aware. Common area is very small, no aircon, got very stuffy. The name of the hostel implies a space only for women. This was not essential for me, but be aware there are no house rules about this or about quiet hours. You must rely on other guests' decisions as you cannot refer to house rules to support you if there is a problem.
