We arrived with our two-and-a-half-year-old son, carrying the usual level of planning and attention that comes with travelling as a family.
The moment you step inside, even before any words are exchanged, you feel something: a refined and delicate floral scent, made even more distinctive by the in-house flower atelier. It’s a detail, but also a clear statement of identity.
Check-in is smooth, natural and genuinely welcoming. There is no distance, no forced formality — just people who know how to read the guest in front of them.
In the room, we found a handwritten welcome note. Not perfect, not standardized — and precisely because of that, authentic. A simple gesture, yet increasingly rare.
When travelling with a child, you quickly notice whether things have truly been thought through. Here, it’s not about adapting — it’s about being anticipated: dedicated bath products, a diaper bin already in place. Small details that reflect real, practical care rather than something merely stated.
During our stay, our son unfortunately wasn’t feeling well, and even in that situation we experienced genuine support from the staff, who were attentive, present and sincerely willing to help. A further confirmation of a level of care that goes beyond service.
The hotel itself is maintained with a level of precision that never needs to be showcased.
Cleanliness is constant, almost invisible.
The room is comfortable and intuitive: technology works effortlessly, devices connect seamlessly, and in the evening the TV easily becomes a simple, familiar moment for our child. Everything is exactly where it should be, without ever feeling intrusive.
Breakfast is one of those moments that naturally stretches longer than expected. Not just because of the variety — which is extensive and of very high quality, from freshly prepared eggs Benedict to honeycomb, from exceptional salted butter to ever-changing offerings — but because of how everything is orchestrated.
The themed stations evolve and surprise: one day raclette, another hints of international cuisine, and then Spanish ham that tells the story of the region without needing explanation.
And then, almost without interrupting anything, a cellist gently accompanies the room.
It’s not entertainment — it’s atmosphere.
But the real difference, once again, lies in the people.
The dining staff are not simply attentive — they are present in the right way.
They don’t follow a script, they are never mechanical.
They observe, understand, adapt, anticipate.
With our son, every gesture felt natural, never staged: a look, a smile, a timely gesture of support that arrives exactly when needed.
It is that kind of relational intelligence that cannot be improvised — pure empathy, rooted in genuine dedication.
It’s true: in a hotel of this level, expectations are naturally high. But here, something different happens.
Kindness, attentiveness and courtesy are never “part of the service” — they are real, and consistently so.
Despite the elegance and high standard of the property, you never feel any distance.
You feel comfortable at all times — almost as if you had become part of something.
We have stayed in several five-star hotels, but very few manage to strike this balance between tangible quality and genuine human warmth.
In the end, true luxury is not found in the details — however impeccable they may be — but in the natural way they make you feel part of something, even if only for a few days.
