The best

Perfectly positioned in the centre of Mijas Pueblo. Delightful staff, delicious breakfast not to be missed. Good sized rooms. The hotel is well laid out. Lots of interesting art pieces in the adjoining gallery/shop.

To be improved

Although the general staff were very helpful I thought it was odd that there was no obvious manager there to answer questions or just to say ‘hello’ to guests. It was difficult to know who was in charge. The rooms were a good size and very clean but the bed wasn’t particularly comfortable and the pillows were hard. The staff did work hard to try to find soft pillows for me with some success. A pillow menu would be a good addition.

“Not happy Booking.com advertised our room at £25 a night cheaper, a day after we booked.”

Breakfast choices were excellent , and freshly produced.

To be improved

The hotel should warn people that they should ignore their sat nav which brings them to the hotel door, as it is in a heavily pedestrianised and narrow area (people sitting at tables only a metre or so away), and park up somewhere first.

“Very modern rooms/apartments, good breakfast a la card included, friendly staff and right at the centre enclosed by bars, restaurants and little shops. Inexpensive public parking is close, and no stairs have to be taken from the carpark to the hotel. · Cons: Our stay was too short, could have stayed longer in this romantic village.”
