Original loft en Lavapiés

NOTHING!!!! Horrible horrible place. BED BUGS!! I woke up after my first night stay to over 100 bites across my arms, legs, back and even face. Please see photos attached. I had to rush to the doctor (who confirmed they were bites from fleas) and am now on 2 different kinds of medication. I left right away and the host agreed to a full refund but this doesn't help the case as it completely ruined my past week. The bites were horribly itchy and painful and I had to sit on a flight for 15 hours after this in a lot of discomfort. Prior to this situation, it was already not a nice place. The host told me I could check in around 2.30-3pm (or at least drop my bags). I arrived and had to sit on the street (which smelt like dog urine), waiting for a full hour until she arrived at 3.20pm. The apartment is at the very top floor (4th) so I had to lug my huge suitcase up 4 flights of stairs - this was not warned on the detail/description upon booking. Then at 4.30pm the cleaners knocked on the door many times insisting to come inside (this is well past the official check in time of 4pm) saying they forgot to put some bin bags in the bathroom. I ignored it when they knocked 3 times because I was trying to sleep. After I ignored the knocks, they used their key to let themselves into the apartment!? While I was sleeping!? I felt incredibly unsafe being a solo female traveller. There is a park next door which appears to have some homeless people living in but at nighttime it was incredibly noisy with groups of youths spending time in the park. I could barely sleep due to the noise. Worst place I've ever stayed in - completely regretful.

Good location Beautiful

Location was very close to the things I wanted to see. Most things were walkable from this location
