The apartment is situated in a very good location, close to the beach and the promenade. There are many restaurants and shops in the vecinity. The communication with the host was easy and friendly. Someone waited for us in the middle of the night to handover the keys.

To be improved

The apartment's main advantage is its great location, which makes it quite attractive. I booked it based on its very good reviews (9+), but unfortunately, the reality didn't fully match my expectations. The reviews and pictures are somewhat misleading, as several things in the apartment are worn out. For example: The sofa is heavily stained. Although we used it as a bed with linens, in its current condition it really needs to be professionally cleaned or replaced if the apartment is to deserve a high rating. All door handles are loose. The pans need replacing. Parts of the kitchen furniture are peeling and could use repainting. Several metal fixtures are rusted, likely due to the salty sea air. When cooking, the extractor hood pushes all the air into the bathroom instead of venting it outside. With proper care and a bit of maintenance, the apartment could be significantly improved therefore I'm not going to rate it low however it will probably get much lower reviews in the near future if these issues are not addressed promptly. For context: I visited Tenerife in February and booked a much better apartment for a lower price. I chose this one mainly for its location and the high reviews. Had I known about the above issues in advance, I probably would have chosen a different place.

“This apt is like home from home”

The best

Myself and my husband have just returned home to Ireland after a 4 week stay at this apt. The apt was very comfortable and had everthing we needed. It has all mod cons including a flat screen TV (with some English channels), a washing machine, dish washer, microwave, hob and separate oven. The king size bed is so comfy and there is aircon in the bedroom. The bedroom window overlooks one of the 3 pools and there is a poolside snack bar on the complex. The rear balcony is a decent size with a table and 4 chairs and has views of the sea in the distance. Perfect for outdoor dining. The apt is in an excellent location. Very close to numerous bars and restaurants and a 5 min walk to La Pinta beach. There complex is gated and secure. The only negative comment I have is that the window blinds in the hallway and sitting room are transparent which limits privacy and you have to tackle approx 15 steps to reach the apt door, other than that, I cannot fault this apt. I will definately be booking it again for future visits to Tenerife. I especially want to thank Vera. She is a great host. A lovely genuine friendly lady who goes above and behond to ensure you have a comfortable stay in the apt. Excellent communication and customer service.
