“very clean, friendly hosts, quiet location”
The best

I personally loved the location because it was so peaceful and I loved being away from the centre at night, however there is no shop or restaurants near by so bear that in mind. The town is 10 mins away by bus and the bus stop is 4 mins walk so really easy. Bus is 1.85 and you can use cash or contactless. I loved the view and birds tweeting in the morning. blackout blinds were great so its pitch black while sleeping! Room and bathroom were both extremely clean and towels replaced which was a nice touch. very friendly hosts. provided an iron for my wedding guest dress. great strong air con. good shower pressure.

To be improved

The mattress was way too hard for me, I think it was extra firm, which I think is s bit risky for a hotel/guesthouse. maybe offering a softer mattress topper could be nice. not great fir longer stays but for 2 nights was fine. also there is zero sound proofing, there was a man next door on the phone for 3 hours and I could hear every word! luckily I had earplugs with me. there was not a full length mirror in my room.

I think it might have to do with people parking around to catch a bus into town. Sometimes easy…OFTEN a challenge. Just had to keep driving in circles to finally catch an open place.”

“Nice, clean, modern space. Our host was excellent, so helpful! Easy ride into San Sebastian on the bus from there. A lovely coffee and cake offering. Highly recommended. · Cons: Pillow is very firm foam. Having a small fridge would have been nice but I know it is not typical in these kinds of places.”
