“Disappointed stay”
The best

The location was very good, a very beautiful area, despite a quite narrow road. Breakfast was tasty, with a fresh pastry, the owner was very friendly.

To be improved

I would love to say that the stay was great, but it wasn't. We stayed 7 nights in the room next to the kitchen. The room had a strange musty smell. It was extremely noisy, we heard every sound from the kitchen, every movement from the room above. The owner admitted that he knew about the issues in this room. During the stay, gradually we got many insect bites, I originally thought from mosquitoes. But my child, who is reacting with a severe reaction to any mosquito sting, was just bitten, the same as we were. I would love to believe that it was from fleas, but the cats didn't have any fleas. Next to this, as a vet, I know that these fleas prefer to bite cats/ dogs, if available, instead of human beings. Together with the musty smell, occasional blood spots on bedsheets and a change of the bedsheets in the middle of our stay (without requesting it), this gives me a certain suspicion, that the owner is aware that there are more issues in this room.

“Short stopover, making us want to stay longer!”
The best

The location is amazing, surrounded by nature in a super quiet spot. We only passed by and spent one night while traveling, but it would be a great place to chill a few days and enjoy the area! The owner is super cool and helpful, trying his best to make your stay as lovely as possible!!!!!

To be improved

The rooms are not very well soundproofed, so if you get unlucky and get a very loud and impolite family as neighbors, resting might get a bit difficult.

Great breakfast with freshly baked bread, pastries, home made jam and much more. Beautiful country side environment. Moreover, staff members were very friendly and super helpful. We highly recommend this place.

“A perfect stop for us pilgrims on the Camino!”

Extremely helpful & friendly staff. Clean, comfortable rooms & beds. Food, wine & beverages available onsite, which is good since hotel/albergue is several miles out of town. Beautiful views. Nice breakfast selection provided.

Could not eat on outdoor terrace as many cats were around. Not a problem if you like cats :)
