Bed bug infestation that the company tried to hide by putting 8 bedsheets over a mattress Coming home and having to fumigate all clothes and suitcases. New people straight in after we left without it being cleaned.

“Fantastic stay for big groups, amazing location”

The property is in a great location with supermarket, pharmacy, beach and a strip or restaurants all between 5-8 minutes walk. The place itself was never ending, such a good size and what an amazing outdoor dining area. From the pictures I didn’t think the pool was that big but it was big and had a great deep end.

To be improved

There was a few tiny aging bits about the property, door handle coming away, old kettle, but honestly nothing I “didn’t like”.

Excellent location with the shop and beach only a short walk down the road. The villa itself was spacious and clean with a large pool and sun loungers. Outdoor kitchen and dining table was really nice.

The location of Paradise Palms by Fidalsa was the only pleasing aspect of our stay.

Our New Year's stay at Paradise Palms by Fidalsa turned from excitement to a nightmare. The constant flickering of lights was frightening, making us fear an electrical fire at any moment. We faced more than 10 power outages, disrupting our celebrations and leaving us in darkness repeatedly. The heating was ineffective, leading to cold, uncomfortable nights. Without outdoor lighting, every evening felt risky and unsafe, especially when moving around the property. A major letdown was the empty pool, which we had looked forward to enjoying. Meal times were unpleasant due to chipped plates and rusted cutlery. The scarcity of hot water meant long waits and quick depletion, adding to our discomfort. The toilets were continuously running, creating constant annoyance. Several electrical outlets were exposed and damaged, posing a serious safety risk, particularly for families with children. The beds were so uncomfortable that getting a good night's sleep was nearly impossible, adding to our distress. The numerous issues at this property spoiled our festive mood and turned our holiday into a series of stressful events. It was disheartening to have our joy overshadowed by such preventable problems. I hope this review helps future guests make an informed decision about Paradise Palms by Fidalsa.
