Parador de Calahorra

Nice hotel, helpful reception staff, room all good Awful service at bar, restaurant at dinner and breakfast Not the greatest place to stay, worst Parador prize clearly pending

Was in the area working and decided to stay at the parador. I have seen better ones but the rooms are big and warm the breakfast is good and the girl on reception went out of her way to be helpful. I will be back

This is a charming hotel. Rooms are comfortable and clean. The restaurant, for dinner, had an excellent choice on the menu. Breakfast was substantial and good. The staff were all excellent.

A perfect stay after a long day's ride, from Torrevieja and onto Santander to take a ferry to the UK.

This was the first Parador we ever stayed in over 10 years ago and this is our first visit back since. We were just staying for one night on our way to catch the ferry. We have stayed in Paradors quite a bit over the years and generally the experience is excellent. The Parador Calahorra is no exception. Calahorra is a nice place to visit or stop off and the hotel is convenient in the centre of town. It has free parking. The service is very good and breakfast excellent. The atmosphere is welcoming. The parking was full when we arrived as we were delayed by traffic but the gentleman at reception moved his car to let us park. Our room was large with a view and quite comfortable. We didn't dine in on this trip but there are restaurants convenient to the hotel. Hopefully we will get back for a longer visit next time.

We requested a double room but were allocated a twin. Our room was changed but was so close to the lift shaft the elevator motor was louder than the room TV and made sleep difficult
