“A lovely hotel close to the promenade”

The best

This Parador is only about 50 metres from the Cambados promenade offering many local walks. We couldn't fault the excellent restaurant for evening dining. Good quality seafood and fish dishes available. However, we were disappointed with the quality of hot food server for breakfast. On two occasions our eggs and bacon was delivered to our table cold. Also, service was very slow. Hopefully this was all due to unanticipated staffing issues and will be improved going forward.

“Excellent hotel in central Cambados - ideal for bars & shopping for albariño”

The best

We have stayed here before and so we knew what an excellent hotel this is. Our room was very good except for the creaky wooden floor. The pool was in operation and was most welcome. The bar snacks are excellent - the chicken bocadillo was huge as was the Club Sandwich ( massive - bacon, egg, chicken, ham, cheese . . .). It is located on the sea front, close to the shops - esp all the wine shops (albarino) and bars. We enjoyed using the guest salon for reading and playing cards. The staff were all very friendly & helpful. They have a box of games - ask at reception. The had a lovely pack of playing cards with Parador logo - shame they don´t make/sell these. As with most Paradors there is a lack of staff, costs I suppose. Esp at breakfast time. The Paradors are missing a trick with EV charging - they would attract more custom if they had these installed. Highly recommend this Parador

“Relaxed quality hotel in great location”

The best

Lovely relaxed hotel in the centre of Cambados - near to lots of restaurants and seafront promenade. Spacious rooms and bathrooms - very clean and comfortable. Car park was very welcome - but gets very full. Pool area is great for shade and a swim on a very hot days when we were there. Only slight issue was that our companions put out a ‘do not disturb’ sign which the housekeeping staff ignored and entered room to make up beds etc. Hotel staff were very helpful and pleasant in general.
