“An immersive mountain experience in the heart of the natural park”
An atmospheric building set uniquely deep in natural territory where wildlife opportunities, walking, scenery and quietitude rules. The rooms and public areas are stylish and staff friendly and helpful.
“The food and drinks were good. The view from the parador was very beautiful as it is high up in the mountains. The staff was friendly and attentive. I was told about a beautiful walking path about 15 minutes drive away called Puente de las Herrerías which ran beside a pretty river. The staff member also gave me a map so I could more easily find the spot. · Cons: Our room (number three) was nothing special and didn't have a view of anything despite it being in the mountains. There was no other place to drive or walk nearby for food or drinks so we ate two days worth of meals on site (six meals) but didn't really want to do that. It was just too far to drive to go somewhere else, especially given the narrow and twisting mountain roads. I would recommend only a one night stay there for this reason.”

“was just what we expected.”
Location was great foe us as walkers. Room was just what was required. Breakfast was excellent.
“O.K. great potential for improvements”
If this is to be an experience that one should not forget, there is a lot to take into account, see my previous comments.
“Fabulous location, and characterful building, which hasn't lost its charm when it has incorporated modern facilities. It requires a long drive to reach by car, but we had included it in a bike tour as the finale of our route, and it didn't disappoint. The staff were friendly and helpful, the food was good quality, and the half board package was really good value. Beautiful mountain and forest surroundings, and if you wanted to take advantage of the walking, each room was provided with traditional walking sticks to use. · Cons: No complaints.”
