“Spectacular parador!”

The best

From a distance you can see this majestic Parador at the top of the village. It’s very impressive. As you walk in, you feel transported in another era. The rooms are spacious. The staff is very helpful. The restaurant is excellent. If you like pasta! I highly recommend the pasta dish. Had the weather been warmer, I would have liked to enjoy the courtyards.

“Very nice”

The best

You tend to know what you are getting in Parador, and that's often why I stay in them. They are always clean and functional, the staff are always friendly and they are often in terrific buildings and interesting places. The Parador de Sigüenza is no exception; clean, comfortable, well-staffed and welcoming. The building is also amazing, as is the small town. Definitely one to which I will return!

“Nice city - terrible cuisine in the Parador”

The best

The parador has an ideal location to visit the old town and has a spectacular view. The staff is friendly and the rooms are spacious. But as most of the time in these Paradores, the kitchen is terrible. You better have a bar meal than to go to their restaurant.

“Needs improving”

The best

The building, a medieval castle, is unbelievable. Beautiful, magnificent, overwhelming. The service depends on the people, although generally considered is good enough. The cleaning ladies, in our view, were the nicest. The worst, in our experience, is that some rooms smell quite bad (sewage; mostly comes from air-conditioning). Fortunately, it is no problem to change to another room. Parking is quite challenging, and the info provided by the front desk in relation to that is disappointing.
