“I will be happy to stay there again when I visit Granada. All in all, the apartment was great”
The apartment was beautiful, furnished and modern, with a homely and comfortable feel to it. Its a 3-storey building and had lovely marble stairs. There are no lifts so it will be difficult for those wheelchair bound or have difficulty walking upstairs. Despite the heat in Granada, it had working AC and was pleasantly situated so that shops and markets were only a short walk away, allowing us to explore the city. The Alcaicería market was only 10 mins walk away. We made use of the buses, taxis, metros and Uber during our stay to get to know the city which itself was beautiful, with lots of trees and greenery and many small businesses and historical artefacts. The people of Granada were also extremely kind and helpful and diverse and we were able to not only learn more about the beauty of Spanish culture but also the beauty and history of Arab culture as well. If you are in Granada you must not leave without seeing the Alhambra Palace and Nevada Shopping Mall. We went in the first week of August and it was very warm. Most shops and restaurants are open very late sometimes up to 2am. Taxis were cheap so to avoid long walks in the hot weather we sometimes called Uber which made sure we had more time to explore without having to resort to a second shower. To avoid getting tired, just make sure you are carrying lots of water to drink. We found that we rarely ever got hungry all day and just drank water most of the day and ate at nights only. I will be happy to stay there again when I visit Granada. All in all, the apartment was great and the city was amazing.
