Parque Las Flores

One of the nicest places we've stayed in Puerto de la Cruz. A bit of a hill up to it but well worth it for the quietness and views. The apartment was large with everything you need. Love the fact they provided water and cava. The cleaner came half way through the stay.and was excellent. My better half loved the all day sun and the fact there was no competition for sunbeds.

We have been here in January 2020 and with great joy we returned in August with our kids. The place is great. Only 10 apartments, pool large enough and very clear without any toxic chemicals used. Apartments spacious, clean and make with good taste. Kitchen well equipped. Beds comfy. No bath, but shower big enough. Two toilets - one in bathroom, one separate. Great views on Teide and the ocean, sunsets are fantastic when sitting on the sunbed by the pool! 5 mins by car or 15 mins walk to the beach or center of town, but shops are closer - fruts, veggies just 3 mins walk away, small grocery shop 200m up the street, supermarket (at Mercado Municipal) around 10 mins. The owners are very friendly and caring, reacting immediately on any needs. The real star in the sky is Yolanda. She is fascinated with Tenerife and knows every hidden gem on the island! If you need to go to any breathtaking place known only by locals, ask her! She is happy to share her knowledge. We are hoping that we will return as soon as possible to these fantastic people and places.

There were only nine apartments in the building and there was a swimming pool outside. The apartment was spacious and cozy. The kitchen equipment was adequate. Wifi didn’t work well, several times it fell off completely. The residential area was quiet and well away from the main tourist areas. There were few small supermarkets and cafes nearby. The apartment was located at the uphill eg. walking from the old town to the apartment was all the way uphill and at times very steep one. The pavements were quite narrow. We recommend to take a taxi, especially when coming with shopping. The taxi costs only EUR 3.15 excluding the tips. Soundproofing wasn’t top-notch. Especially the newcomers to the neighboring apartment were disturbingly loud for the first couple of days. The other neighbors were very quiet and most of them were staying in there for the longer time.

We stopped here Christmas & New Year 2010/11 and I wish I was there this year. We had a lovely time at this villa and it was a perfect base for us. My father is in a wheelchair and it was perfect for him as it was all on one level. There was a lovely welcome pack and the christmas tree had been put up for us too. Lovely and spacious and real home from home.
