Breakfast was excellent - good choice of fresh foods.

To be improved

It was a very hot day and our room remained very hot overnight even with the window open - there was no air conditioning which I do understand given the location but the night we were there it was hard to sleep because of the temperature.

“Excellent facilities and lovely setting with garden to relax after a day hiking the Camino just prior to arriving in Santiago. · Cons: Room was very warm and difficult to sleep in, didn’t appear to have any air conditioning and as a result a tough nights sleep but other than that very positive. Excellent meal was provided and a private area.”

Also due to the difficulty of getting a taxi back to the airport, we were taken there for free. · Cons: Breakfast could have had a bit more variety, for example some eggs options. Cereals, fruit, bread, coffee, cheeses and charcuterie were available though.”

“After a Flight Delay You Saved The Day but Too Short a Time in a Place So Fine!”
The best

We arrived really late after a badly delayed flight, but the manager very kindly stayed up - saving us from a bad situation! In the morning we discovered that it is a really beautiful old place with a charming ancient chapel and lovely river walk … much nicer than an average ‘airport hotel’. The management helped us get back to the airport for our hire car in the morning. Thank you Pazo Xan Xordo!

“A hidden gem!”
The best

The hotel is beautiful, clean, historic, and quiet. The people are kind and friendly. We stayed here on two separate occasions during and after our Camino. A delicious dinner is available as well.

To be improved

We liked everything about Pazo Xan Xordo. It is a little bit remote, so be prepared to communicate about needing a ride if you do not have a car. It is completely worth it!
