“The location of the accommodation was excellent – just a five-minute walk to the waterfront and about ten minutes to La Rambla. The room was simply furnished with a bed, a washbasin, a desk, and a chair. The mattress was a bit too soft for my preference, which made it a little difficult to sleep comfortably – though that may vary from person to person. The room itself was fairly spacious, although not particularly bright. The shared areas (kitchen, hallway, and bathroom) seemed a bit worn and could benefit from some light renovations, but overall, the stay was pleasant. · Cons: One aspect I didn’t enjoy as much was the living situation: you're essentially sharing the space with the older lady who runs the hostel, including the kitchen and bathroom. I also found the restricted kitchen access a bit inconvenient – it wasn’t allowed to use the kitchen between 2:00 PM and 4:00 PM, and after 10:00 PM, it was completely locked. This meant that even placing food in the fridge later in the evening wasn’t possible. I kindly asked, but she didn’t allow it and locked the kitchen. That was a bit disappointing.”
