Pensión Alcalá

A basic but very clean room. The fridge was useful. A small balcony with views up and down the street. The bed was comfortable. A single small drawer for clothes and hanging space. Table and chair for balcony. Spare blanket. Excellent location for local beaches and good fish restaurants. The room was great.

I was positively impressed with the value I received for the price I paid for staying at Pension Alcala! Their charge was modest for a safe place to stay. I intend to stay at Pension Alcala whenever I attend future training in Tenerife.

I stayed almost 3 weeks at Pensión Alcalá. I liked the cleanliness and tranquility of the rooms. There is a small fridge which is very handy. It's very clean and very quiet, the beds are comfortable. The ocean is only a few hundred meters away and in 10 min. by foot you arrive at the very pretty beaches of La Jaquita and the natural swimming pools. There are bars and restaurants close by as well as a shopping street and two supermarkets within a few minutes walk. Parking is very easy, there are plenty of free parking spaces.

Pension Alcala offers good value for money. The room and bathrooms were exceptionally clean and offered good facilities. The building is in a good location and is well appointed. The check in process was not the best but we checked in on a Sunday, and gloriously, this town treats Sunday as a proper rest day so I’m not scoring the business down on that basis. Lots of stairs so might not be suitable for all.

This is a very basic place but I got what I needed- a clean bed and my private space. Not recommended if you want to spend any time in but if you want to explore, go to beaches, do some sports- I would recommend this place.

Friendly and helfull host, good anti Covid measurements, clean room, good location, and a small but usefull balcony. I recommend this place for short and medium staying for families and couples. Very satisfied.
