“I stayed here as it was mid way between Triacastela, on the Camino Frances and Monforte de Lemos on the Camino Invierno. A helpful young woman has just bought the pension so unfortunately for me, I arrived 3 days before the restaurant reopened but there's a shop and two bars 2kms down the road. Guessing by my English sounding name, the owner contacted me early in the day to ask if I was a pilgrim and offered to pick me up from Sarria as it's about 7 Kms away but I didn't need a lift. · Cons: Nothing.”

“I wouldn't go there agai.”

To be improved

I was disappointed that it was so far out of the town, and that I hae to take a taxi back into town the next morning, to begin my walk on the Camino. That should have been mentioned in the description. The room was chilly, and I went to bed before I was ready, just to get warm.

“Cons: I spent the last 2 days before I was due to arrive trying to contact the property by phone, email and whattsapp to no avail. I needed to change my check-in time as I was arriving very late and did not want to end up with nowhere to stay after traveling for hours to get there. I was calling on the number provided during office hours and sent a number of emails No one picked up the phone or answered my email until the morning I was due to get there and after I complained on Booking.com. By that time I had to book somewhere else where I could be sure of having a room. They refused to give me a full refund and then promised to send me 50% of the amount I paid. But I have not received anything yet and it has been 11 days. I would definetely not recommend”
