Verified reviews from real guests who have already stayed here.
Staff repeatedly described as friendly and attentive (warm owner, excellent treatment); one isolated complaint about the bar staff handling breakfast.
Consistently highlighted as excellent or very good — near the train station, central, close to restaurants and transport stops.
Not specifically detailed in the reviews; standard quality for this hotel tier.
Mostly praised as very clean in many reviews ("muy limpio", "baño siempre limpio"), though at least one reviewer noted a neglected bathroom.
Beds and rooms often described as comfortable and spacious, but issues reported with shared/remote bathrooms, hallway noise and occasional maintenance concerns.
Several reviewers mentioned a good price and recommended the place for its value.
“Great location, just in front of the train station. Friendly staff. Breakfast is a nice bonus, but it's just a coffee with toast. · Cons: The check-in process is far from being perfect. You have to go to the bar across the street, and ask the waiter to call someone who can give you the key and show you the room.”

“This was a last-minute booking and I was very impressed: the room was really clean and, though unsurprisingly basic, had everything one needed for a comfy night. Though there's no air-con, there is a fan on the ceiling, which was pretty good at keeping the room at a good temperature. The shutters were excellent, as was the water pressure. · Cons: Provide an automated message with check-in information. My message only arrived the following day and so it was only luck that I met an elderly lady letting herself into the apartment block at 11pm who told me I needed to go to the neighbouring bar to collect the keys. The door onto the corridor has quite a large gap under it, so you need to use a blanket to block it to stop light getting in and also to try and reduce noise transferred from the corridor when people go past. The bedroom lighting is pretty stark.”

“A hidden gem in Oviedo – full of charm, with just a few things to fine-tune”
My stay at this guesthouse in Oviedo felt like walking through a beautifully restored old palace – with every step, I found myself admiring its aesthetics, elegance, and welcoming atmosphere. The building itself immediately catches the eye – noble, graceful, and yet cozy. The location? Absolutely perfect – right in the heart of the city, close to everything, but still pleasantly quiet. The apartment I stayed in was spacious, fresh-smelling, and tastefully decorated. Although the bathrooms are shared, this didn’t turn out to be an issue – somehow guests naturally respected each other’s space and time. Everything was clean and well-kept, which made for a very comfortable experience. Still, there are a few small details that could greatly improve the quality of the stay – and I say this not as a complaint, but with care and goodwill. I’d sincerely encourage the people managing this place to spend a night there as guests themselves. Only then can you truly notice how the loud creaking of doors in the dead of night can disturb the silence and sleep. A few soft-close hinges or rubber stoppers would easily solve that. There are no towel hooks or racks in the rooms, which presents a bit of a practical dilemma: where do you hang your towel after use? Hanging it in the shared bathroom isn’t ideal, since no one wants to risk it being mistaken for someone else’s. A single hook on the wall would make all the difference. After a day full of sightseeing and local tapas, one wants to relax – maybe watch something on their phone, listen to music, or dive into a good book. Unfortunately, the WiFi connection was weak and kept dropping out – streaming anything required saintly patience. The lighting was another challenge: very bright and cold white, more like a hospital than a relaxing space. Some warmer, softer light – even just a small bedside lamp – would add a lot of coziness for evening reading or unwinding.
Another small thing – the air freshener in my room was extremely strong, to the point where I felt like I’d stepped into a perfume store rather than a resting space. I had to tuck it away in the closet to avoid the overwhelming scent. A milder, more discreet fragrance would be much more pleasant. One big plus was the breakfast setup – served across the street in a charming local café bar. A lovely way to experience the city authentically. It would be great, however, to keep the breakfast offering consistent – on the first day I got a piece of cake with my coffee, which was a nice touch, but on the second and third days, it was missing. Also, it would be very helpful to clearly mention that the reception is located in that café – that would avoid confusion at check-in. All in all, I really enjoyed my stay. The guesthouse has so much potential and many great qualities: beautiful design, excellent location, cleanliness, and a unique charm. It’s the kind of place you want to return to – especially if those few small issues are addressed over time. I’m rooting for it – because this little gem could become a true jewel.
“Great place to stay in Oviedo”
Very nice clean and modern room, comfortable and convenient.
Shower head unstable, popped out of the holder when water was turned off. Wifi a bit unstable at times, which makes it a bit tricky to make onward bookings. No information was provided that check-in must be done at restaurant around the corner.
“The bar attendant solved my problem with a wrong booking date on the day. It was nice of them. · Cons: The internet was not working”

“Good enough for me…I have earplugs and a sleep mask :-)”
Its location is great and rooms are great
It’s noisy. The lights in the passageway go on and off and the other guests make a lot of noise. It’s not the property…it’s uncaring guests. You need earplugs and a sleep mask!
