“Good choice for Santander”
The best

Nice clean comfortable room. Welcome sweets and bottle of water is nice welcome gesture. Also can leave luggage before and after check-in/out at the restaurant. Very customer friendly.

“We were able to check in early. It was clean and quiet. Ground floor room. OK for 1 night. Bedding was clean but felt a little damp, perhaps not dried fully before changing. It's cheap and at the right price level for what it offers in Santander. · Cons: You have to pass through a car access a type of alley which is ok in the day but at night may be not. Unfortunately it smells badly there as people are using it to sleep and as a toilet. Sadly there were quite a lot of homeless people in the area nearby and the area felt a little depressing. Not the hostels fault. Also better signs to the hostal access are needed as it is not clear that you need to enter this alley to find the access at the rear.”

The best

The staff at the Pension were very helpful and responsive. I was allowed to check in early so I was able to fresh up and go sightseeing for a good few hours (I am on Camino). Its own restaurant offers menu del dia which was very good value for money. Location is central so quite convenient.

To be improved

There was some noise until late evening outside the Pension but was not sure if it is always that way or just on the day of my stay
